Location: E12 Health, Stratford Village Surgery & Leytonstone Medical Centre

Salary: Circa £80,000 pa consisting of £8,500 - £10,000 per session/annum depending on experience.

MDU and Private Medical Fees Team & Individual Performance Related, Bonus Scheme 6 weeks holiday & 1 week study leave, £500 - Business Parking Permit (if regularly working at multiple sites)

We have an excellent in-house teaching culture and are known as local innovators around the effective use of EMIS Web and other IT systems to improve patient care. We use EMIS workflow - paperless document management and remote access to support the flexible working of our clinical teams.

Our current team of Doctors includes 3 GP Trainers, including a GP Trainer Program Director, 2 CCG Board members, a CCG Cluster lead and 3 Medical Student Educators across our 3 sites.

We fully support part-time and flexible working.

All of the sites operate as independent units but also work closely together to facilitate the efficient management of the group practice by using standard IT, Training and Clinical policies and procedures.

Although most staff are generally based at only one location we are able to use EMIS Web and our own internal GP practice management system - OneRoom™, to facilitate the provision of excellent healthcare to our patients and support our staff across all 3 sites.

Merging our 3 sites to create the First 4 Health Group has enabled us to

  • share resources

  • provide each other with support

  • create a new structures for managing the career development of both clinical and non-clinical staff within the practice

  • proactively manage the higher quality targets that have been introduced for NHS practices.

Stratford Village Surgery has an excellent clinical team. We have regular clinical and non-clinical team meetings to manage and continually improve our patient care. E12 Health has been a GP Training Practice for many years. Stratford Village is in the process of becoming a GP Training Practice.

We are passionate about ensuring that the NHS is well run and remains patient focused. We are therefore looking for forward-thinking self motivated GP’s who are committed to promoting clinical excellence and team-work within the NHS and who want to develop new models of supporting patients around their health. We actively support innovative new community based models for promoting patient health such as the Well London Project and GP Champions for Youth.

The First 4 Health Group currently has a number of GP vacancies as a result of both our recent development and our plans to develop new career structures to enable appropriate succession planning and future growth as existing partners retire.

We operate a discretionary staff bonus scheme - partly based on individuals choosing to take on additional responsibility and the practice team working together to meet the annual standard QOF and other contractual KPI targets set for all GP practices.

The successful applicant will need to

  • have a positive and enthusiastic attitude

  • be able to clinically supervise staff to a high standard

  • be committed to providing an excellent service to patients
