The Jolley & Dutta Practice is a GP Training Practice with a registered patient population of around 5000. The Partnership is one of three GP Partnerships collocated at the GP Centre and is supported by a highly skilled nurse and administrative team, by way of a shared resources model. The Partnerships work closely together to deliver Primary Healthcare services to their registered population. Overall there is a combined patient list size of approximately 15,000.
We are fortunate to be supported by a highly professional team that combine excellent clinical and non-clinical skills. The Practice recently achieved an overall rating of ‘Good’ by the Care Quality Commission earlier this year and was rated as “outstanding” for the level of care provided to vulnerable patients and those with long term conditions. Inevitably we remain under constant pressure to maintain and deliver the highest level of patient care in an ever-changing environment with decreasing resources.
We are seeking a GP (up to 7 clinical sessions pw) to become fully involved with all Practice functions, both clinical and operational. This is an ideal opening for an aspiring individual.
Whilst the job specification details the main duties of the post, we see this role as a developmental one and the successful candidate should be prepared to fully commit to role; integrate with the Practice Team and contribute time and effort to the achievement of the Practice business objectives and the continuity of patient care.
We offer competitive terms of employment and a supportive and friendly working environment.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
Applicants must have current UK professional registration. For further information please see applying from overseas.
