We are located in a commuter town close to London (two separate lines) with a thriving international airport 15 minutes from the surgery. Southend is a university town with great schools and lots of sporting opportunities, including a number of sailing clubs, for individuals or families, and the longest pleasure pier in the world. (With great toffee apples!)
We are a three site Training Practice and currently have 24,000 registered patients. As well as supporting GP Registrars we also provide placements for Medical Students coming down from London. We aim to put patients first and we are looking for a GP with a similar vision. In addition we have a large, motivated and enthusiastic nursing team of 8 practice nurses and 3 health care assistants who not only support the doctors but also provide a variety of nursing specialties.
Developing a tailored programme with you is one of things we will offer the right candidate.
