Job Description

We are seeking a committed and experienced Senior Anaesthetic/Recovery Theatre Practitioner to join our client's busy theatre team at their acute hospital near Greaves Park in the thriving county town of Lancaster, Lancashire, one of England's heritage cities. This is a full-time post but our client is open to hearing from nurses seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity; however, fixed hours cannot be assured.

Our client is a key provider of UK independent healthcare, working with many of the North West’s top consultant surgeons and multidisciplinary healthcare specialists. This centre of excellence delivers an exceptional standard of medical and surgical care, supported by state-of-the-art equipment and the latest technology.

The successful candidate will provide excellent perioperative care, assist in budget monitoring for the department, and provide support, mentorship and development opportunities for junior staff.

Person Requirements:
Registered Nurse or Operating Department Practitioner, registered with the NMC or HCPC as applicable.
Minimum of two years' (at least one year UK-based) post-registration experience in Operating Theatres, with experience in Anaesthetics.
To have completed a recognised Teaching and Assessing/Mentorship qualification.

Must hold an appropriate Anaesthetic qualification .
