Senior Healthcare Assistant Band 3

Job Description

2 x Full Time- 375hrs

1 x Part Time- 225hrs


You will work on shift with a team of doctors, nurses and healthcare assistants. The team will work closely with the acute service psychologist, therapy team and medical team to provide a high standard of care.

Qualifications/ Professional requirement

NVQ Level 3/ RSA III

You will be required to undertake and successfully complete the new national Care Certificate within a 12 week time frame for which you will receive full training and support at basic or higher level depending on previous experience. The Care Certificate sets out 15 new national care standards that must be achieved by all health and social staff to demonstrate that they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide safe and excellent quality of care. This is a condition of your continued employment and must be achieved by the end of your first 6 months of employment. you already have a national care certificate you will be required to evidence this at interview.
