he Priory Hospital St Neots is located in a quiet residential area close to the centre of town. St Neots is a lively market town which is easily reached via the A1, is a short journey from London by train and is accessible by public transport from neighbouring areas such as Cambridge, Peterborough and Northampton.
The hospital provides a locked facility providing three gender specific wards, catering for up to 39 adults with severe and enduring mental illness, including patients with additional mental health problems, such as substance misuse, chronic organic brain syndrome and physical health problems and the full range of acute Mental Illnesses.
We are looking to recruit personable, flexible and motivated Senior Health Care Assistants to support our qualified staff with the delivery of care to our patients. You will be involved in the personal care and meeting the psychological needs of a diverse group of service users with varying degrees of mental and physical issues. You will be caring and attentive with the skills to build strong and trusting relationships with people. It is also important that you work well in a team as you will work alongside qualified nurses and staff from other professions.
