An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Senior Nurse Sonographer or Sonographer to join our established, friendly and supportive team of Clinical Nurse Specialists.
The Women’s Health Centre (WHC) is a dedicated outpatient gynaecology unit which provides advice and treatment to women requiring general and specialist gynaecology care. The unit comprises of a number of separate gynaecology services including early pregnancy & emergency gynaecology services.
We are looking for a committed Senior Nurse Sonographer (Band 8A) or Sonographer (Band 7 - £37,660 – 47,778 pa.inc) with clinical ultrasound experience and skills within early pregnancy & gynaecology to work within this nurse led service. We have a wide mix of patients, and we have a reputation for providing them with an exceptional level of care. The successful candidate will therefore have good communication skills, and will be motivated to provide a high quality service to our patients.
The post holder will work with the Senior Nurse Specialist for the unit with regards to the ongoing development of the early pregnancy, emergency & acute gynaecology service with support from the Nurse Consultant for Gynaecology and the Lead Consultant for Gynaecology.
You should be a forward thinking individual who is able to work independently in support of the imaging requirements for women's health. You will also possess the necessary leadership/management qualities to enhance the delivery of this service.
