£14.30 per hour (36-42 hours per week contract)
Fairburn Chase is a 73 bedded specialist home working with adult service users who present with complex general nursing and complex physical health needs such as, but not exclusively to Cerebral Palsy, Challenging Behavior, Head/Brain Injury, Huntington's Disease, Motor Neurone Disease, Parkinson's Disease and Stroke.
The home is split in to 4 units; Cygnet 18 bedded, Teal 11 bedded, Kingfisher 24 bedded and Athena 20 bedded as Unit Manager
You would be responsible for the Management of Teal Unit.
About the job……
You will be the nurse in charge of a 11 bedded unit, ensuring a high standard of person centered care is delivered by the team. Duties include;
• Acting as Unit Manager
• Administer, reviewing and monitoring medications
• Assessing, planning and implementing support plans to meet the individual needs
• supervising the care team to ensure that the shift runs smoothly and efficiently, through positive role modeling and leadership
• Promoting choice, independence, dignity and respect

Exemplar started life as a training company, helping a care home operator get to grips with an ever-increasing regulatory burden. We helped co-ordinate nursing adaptation courses for overseas nurses too.
