Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) is responsible for providing community health service for over 500,000 people living across the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond-Upon-Thames.

Community Healthcare covers most of the services that are provided outside of hospital or GP surgeries. Come and join our friendly and supportive Occupational Therapy Team at Ham Clinic

The Richmond Occupational Therapy Department is looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Band 6 therapist to join the Children’s Therapy Team. You will join an established team of Occupational Therapists who work closely together in an integrated service with Children’s Physiotherapy and Speech and Language Therapists. We are commissioned to deliver a service to children between 0 – 19 within a variety of settings including nurseries, mainstream schools, clinics and within the home. Applications from therapist who have experience in adult work but can demonstrate transferable skills into paediatrics are welcomed.

The post holder will have the opportunity to develop their skills within a variety of clinical areas including complex neuro-developmental disorders including equipment provision, co-ordinations disorders and autistic spectrum disorders. The department values multi-disciplinary working including groups, joint assessments and sessions with the Physiotherapists and Speech and Language Therapists.

The successful candidate will be closely supervised by our team of Band 7 therapists and will be offered regular individual supervision, group supervision and access to multi-disciplinary in-house and external training. The department’s commitment to continuing professional development is strongly supported by the Trust.
