Hounslow & Richmond Community Healthcare NHS Trust (HRCH) is responsible for providing community health service for over 500,000 people living across the London Boroughs of Hounslow and Richmond-Upon-Thames.

Community Healthcare covers most of the services that are provided outside of hospital or GP surgeries. We are passionate about delivering high quality care and provide a range of services for both adults and children including community nursing, health visiting, physiotherapy, nutrition and dietetics, health promotion and stop smoking services, speech and language therapy and occupational therapy. We also provide some specialist services such as audiology, neuro-rehabilitation, continence services and continuing care.

Some of our services such as the Walk-in Centre at Teddington Memorial Hospital and the Hounslow Urgent Care Centre attract patients from nearby boroughs and we also run services further afield such as the LiveWell and stop smoking services in the London boroughs of Sutton and Merton.

We are recruiting suitably qualified physiotherapists to work within our Community Recovery Service. This post offers an exciting opportunity to work within our forward thinking service which is an integrated community service working across health and social care. The successful candidates will be part of a large, supportive rehabilitation Service based at the Heart of Hounslow Centre for Health.

The team provides client-centred rehabilitation with opportunities to work across

- Specialist Neuro-rehabilitation including Neuro Timely Discharge


- General Rehabilitation;

according to your personal preference. There are opportunities for new pathways in the future as the service evolves and develops.

This setting will allow the successful applicant to further develop a breadth of clinical skills with clients who often have a complex presentation, as well as consolidate the necessary skills required for specialized practice. There is a strong focus on personal and service development and you will be given opportunities to participate in in-service training programme and external training where appropriate. We also have highly experienced clinicians within the team who are keen to support your ongoing personal and professional development including managerial skills. There will also be opportunity to participate in research and audit activities as well as evidence based practice development activities.

You will benefit from close links with the Integrated Community Response Service, In-patient Rehabilitation Teams, Acute hospital Teams as well as colleagues in social care.
