Prescribing support services (PSS) is one of the largest providers of medicines management services to the NHS. We work with a range of NHS commissioners to develop and deliver disease management / medicines optimisation programmes. With over 10 years’ experience of working with practices we are now expanding our services across the UK and supporting a number of new clients/commissioners.
We are seeking to recruit an experienced Primary Care Pharmacist to work with our practices to mobilise new services effectively and service any gaps. Other duties will include clinical leadership, mentoring, supervision and training relating to the job role. Candidates must have been qualified for a minimum of 4 years and worked in a practice or CCG/PCT setting previously.
Applicants must be able to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
This post is subject to the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (Exceptions Order) 1975 and as such it will be necessary for a submission for Disclosure to be made to the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly known as CRB) to check for any previous criminal convictions.
