BMI Healthcare’s Clementine Churchill Hospital in London has a vacancy for a Senior Radiographer to join their team of staff within the Imaging Department.

The department provides a 24/7 - 365 day service to the hospital and supports UCC, ITU, theatres, Consulting rooms, GPs. Opening hours start from 7h00-22h00 weekdays with an on-call service.

This post is part-time for 225 hours per week

It is essential that applicants have the following:

  • BSC or Diploma in Diagnostic Radiographic skills,
  • I.V cannulation certification,
  • Skills in general; fluoroscopy, theatre, CT/MRI.
  • State registration HCPC

Duties of this role include:

  • Manage and plan individual investigations required, and follow the instructions of the supervisory radiologist.
  • To support the Director and the Team Leaders of the department.
  • Produce images to a previously agreed standard, using techniques that produce the lowest radiation dose to the patient and staff.
  • Practice good radiation protection and safety, and observe 'local rules' and “systems of work” and IR (ME) R guidelines.
