Band 6 Renal Dietitian 05 WTE
To commence Mid-March 2017
An exciting opportunity has arisen, due to a reduction in hours following return from maternity leave, for a band 6 Dietitian to join an experienced team of 6 WTE renal Dietitians, and 1 renal dietetic assistant practioner. You will be working within our large, friendly dynamic Dietetic department. The department has good clerical support and access to excellent IT and library facilities.
This post holder will be based at the UHCW hospital in Coventry, but there would be the opportunity to cover renal services across Warwickshire. We are looking for a motivated, enthusiastic Dietitian with excellent communication and team working skills, to work as an integral member of this team.
The successful applicant will have a case load of both renal inpatients and outpatients, and there will be the opportunity to provide input to both dialysis and renal transplant services.
The whole department is actively involved in student training and committed to CPD. As a member of the dietetic team you will take an active part in the provision of training programmes for A, B and C Dietetic Students.
Nutritional support and acute wards experience is essential. Renal experience is desirable, but not essential.
Recruiting to Values
To ensure that we provide world-class patient care, UHCW recruits people that can demonstrate the Trust’s Values and Behaviours in their everyday life. Therefore, if you are invited to interview, you will be undertaking a Values Based Interview/Assessment, which explores not only what you do but how and why you do it.
Before applying, we encourage you to review the Trust’s Values and Behaviours Framework and Values Based Recruitment Factsheet which can be accessed on the right side of this page under the job description.
The Supporting Information Section in your application should therefore reflect your understanding of the Trust’s Values and associated Behaviours. You will be expected to provide us with examples from work experience and/or personal life which demonstrate these values through your behaviour.
