SENIOR SCHOOL HEALTH NURSE – PHN
Salary:£26,302 - £35,225 pro rata per annum
Hours:27 hours per week
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Gloucestershire School Nurse who holds the Specialist Community Public Health Nurse ( School Nursing) qualification, to work within the School Health Nursing Team in the Stroud locality. The service is paramount in the delivery of the Healthy Child Programme 5-19 which includes delivery of public health interventions for school aged children and their families to help improve their health outcomes.
The role will provide management and leadership within a skill mix team on a daily basis and support the Gloucestershire School Health Nurse Service with its modernisation programme
The role is all year round.
Applicants must be Registered Nurses with SCPHN/SN qualification and hold current NMC Registration.
Applicants are required to have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work in partnership with other teams and agencies, communicate with both children and families plus multiagency professionals.
