An opportunity has arisen for an experienced nurse to apply for a Senior Sister / Charge Nurse Band 7 position on the Rutson Unit at the Friarage Hospital, Northallerton
The Ruston Unit is a community hospital providing specialist rehabilitation for patients who have suffered a stroke or have neurological problems. The Unit receives admission from Ward 28 Acute Stroke Unit at the James Cook University Hospital and also patients for general rehabilitation from across the Trust.
This post will require an inspirational leader who can maintain and improve standards, and deliver change with the support of the Matron and the whole multi-disciplinary team, to ensure we achieve the highest standards.
We are looking to recruit an individual who can support, motivate and inspire junior staff and colleagues alike. Applicants will need to be highly focused and demonstrate an ability to communicate effectively, working as part of a multidisciplinary team.
You must have post qualification experience to include a recent background in stroke and rehabilitation services. You will be confident and competent to lead and direct a team and you will possess a portfolio of personal development which reflects your leadership skills and abilities.
