Senior Specialist Physiotherapist - Lambeth Integrated Reablement Team

An exciting opportunity has arisen for the role of Senior Specialist Physiotherapist for the Lambeth Integrated Reablement Team. The Integrated Reablement service delivers high quality support to clients who have a physical disability or illness with deterioration in function, who are unable to complete their activities of daily living independently and require a new or increased package of care The people that we support have a range of diagnoses and clinical presentations, including falls, orthopaedic, respiratory, frailty and neurological conditions.

This post is an excellent opportunity to further develop your leadership skills and have an influence on wider service development as a member of the integrated services senior leadership team.
The post holder will report to the registered reablement manager and team manager and work as part of leadership team to ensure effective and efficient management processes and systems are in operation, including staff management and supervision, workload management and daily allocation and out of hours arrangements.

You should have a significant experience working in a community health service. Significant experience in team management and leadership of a team is also required – preferably within an integrated or multidisciplinary service

The successful candidate will play an integral part in the development of the workforce and lead on the delivery of Reablement support to our clients. They will need to demonstrate excellent clinical, communication and interpersonal skills, have clear decision making capabilities, and be able to effectively manage their time.

In return we will ensure that you are supported by relevant induction, training, operational and professional supervision to enable you to work to your full potential.

You will be supported by the Reablement managers. Your professional development will be actively supported through in–service training programmes; case presentation and review; as well as the wide range of internal and external training offered to GSTT employees.

The post will be based at the Akerman Centre SW9 6AF. The service is planned to operate from 07:30 am-10.30pm, seven days per week, 365 days per year, and you will participate in regular 7 day working and non-traditional shift patterns. Willingness to accommodate future service changes and flexibility to work across different Trust sites and settings is essential.
