Job Description

By working in close partnership with the Locality Areas the Staff Bank offers continuity, reliability and the expertise to effectively provide resources to enable the service areas to uphold standards in clinical care.

The Trust Staff Bank is now seeking to engage experienced, keen, and well-motivated Band 6 registered nurses (RNMH and RNLD) to work across all of the 2gether Trust, including Gloucestershire and/or Herefordshire. The work will predominantly be community based. Previous experience at Band 6 level including working in a community setting is an essential requirement for this post.

The Staff Bank can offer a variety of working hours to staff, and therefore these bank assignments will be suitable to those people who need some flexibility. The ideal candidates will be required to be flexible and able to work at short notice to include unsocial hours, occasional weekends and night shifts.

At Staff Bank we offer comprehensive induction and training packages, annual mandatory updates, access to the NHS Pension & monthly pay. There is a requirement that you will be able to work a minimum of 24 shifts per year and to maintain all statutory and mandatory training requirements.

This post requires the post holder to be able to undertake all statutory and mandatory trainingand post holders must be able to undertake physical interventions. Fitness for physical intervention will be assessed by Occupational Health.

A valid UK driving licence plus the use of own transport for business purposes is essential. For qualifying staff the Trust has a Lease Car Scheme in place.
