We have vacancies for the above posts within our Level 2 Neonatal Unit and are looking for motivated, friendly and experienced Staff Nurses with Neonatal experience to join our developing team.
The Neonatal Unit is situated within Northampton General Hospital and is part of a larger Women, Children and Oncology Directorate. We offer comprehensive neonatal services which includes 2 designated Intensive Care, 4 High Dependency care and 14 Special Care cot’s.
As part of the role you will be supporting the ward manager and clinical ward sisters on a day to day basis in both a nursing and management capacity, working with junior staff and student nurses in all areas of the unit and co-ordinating the shift. Maintaining best possible care and support to all.
You will be encouraged to continually professionally develop. We have a highly motivated skilled team which is Family Centred within a supportive learning environment.You will be working within a varied team which includes Clinical educators, Advanced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner, Enhanced Nurse Practitioners, and awell-established Practice Development structure.
Our training is in partnership with the Universities of Northampton and Leicester and you are encouraged to undertake further study.
The ability to apply the clinical Governance framework to practice including experience in clinical supervision and to use your own initiative to innovate and improve practice in line with regional and national policies.

RN,RM or RSCN/RNC plus
Qualification in Speciality (ENB 405 or equivalent)
ENB 998 or equivalent and
At least two years’ experience as senior band 5 in neonatal nursing
