Job Advert Role Description

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for experienced Senior Support Workers to work alongside the Service Manager and Deputy Manager to lead in support to our service users.

 There are further Sites across Northern Ireland and you will have the opportunity to learn alongside your peers.

This role will be particularly appealing for those who want to persue a career with a leading organisation and have the drive and commitment to take responsibility for meeting the needs of the service users and leading a team to do so.  This is a brand new facility and therefore those who have the skills to make this a success should apply.

Craegmoor is committed to learning and development, the successful candidate will be supported by a tailored induction programme.  Further to this you will be expected to continue your professional development and develop yourself.  The role involves shift work, day, evening and night working.

Applicants must demonstrate that they have:

  • Relevant experience in a similar environment in which you have had responsibility for supporting adults who have complex mental and physical disabilities.
  • Experience in completing, reviewing, monitoring and evaluating support plans
  •  Experience in the administration of medications.
  • NVQ level 3 or equivalent in a health and social care related subject.
  •  Registered with NISCC or willing to register within a specific time period.
