Senior Vascular Physiologist
Full Time Senior Clinical Vascular Physiologist Required for a busy and world-class clinic in Ireland. This role is integral to the care delivery of the facility. Focussing on customer experience and delivery of exceptional care you will be part of the clinic's mission to deliver industry and sector leading customer experience.
You must practice within the Codes of Practice, Rules and Guidelines set out by The Society of Vascular Technicians of Great Britain and Ireland and comply with the policies and procedures of Blackrock Clinic.
Personally and professionally you are accountable to the patient. You are personally accountable for your own actions at all times.
A Certificate or a Degree in medical physics and Clinical measurement from a college of technology or equivalent with a vascular interest. Membership of the Society of Vascular Technology of Great Britain and Ireland.
Candidates must have a minimum of 3 years satisfactory relevant post qualification experience.
Evidence of personal professional development.
Flexible working arrangement may be considered.
Assessment, Planning, Implementation and Evaluation
To perform and interpret the following: Carotid Ultrasound, Venous, Lower Limb Arterial, Upper limb Venous, Upper limb Arterial, Graft Scanning, Pseudoaneurysm Scanning, Segmental Pressures and Ankle/Brachial Index. Laser vein guidance an advantage.
To be responsible for accurate storing of reports generated from the above tests.
Keep accurate documentation of these procedures. Have adequate knowledge of the products required during these procedures.
