Job Advert Location Description

Cherrywood is situated on the edge of Weston Super Mare. It is a short walk away from the woods that lead to the beach and a short bus ride to the town of Weston Super Mare. There, most of the high street stores can be found; alongside a theatre, cinemas, a bowling centre, museums, cafes and restaurants. Colleges and sports centres are also close by.

There is easy access to the railway station; Bristol is just 30 minutes away, other nearby places include Burnham-on-Sea, Taunton and Devon.

Job Advert Role Description

As a Service Manager you will have overall leadership and management responsibility of the unit to ensure the delivery of excellent operational performance, whilst continuing to develop commercial opportunities with purchasers and referrers.

You will ensure both quality and financial targets are met and facilitate the development of a quality rehabilitation service, ensuring that the service responds to the changing needs of purchasers and the people we support and also reflect market trends and evidence based practice.

An excellent track record of general management in either the public or private sector is essential, together with an understanding of the specific needs of the service user group and a passion for improving quality and care.

Your experience to date will have included roles where you can demonstrate a track record of successful service delivery, people management, budget control, business development and revenue generation. An inclusive and supportive management style is a key factor in the success of this role, therefore you will be able to demonstrate project management skills and experience in leading and managing change.
