Job Description

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a highly respected client for a Service Manager to oversee the running of two registered care homes in the Harrogate area.

The well-established company are seeking a dedicated and experienced professional to provide management and leadership across these services and in return will offer a competitive salary and excellent support. The two lovely homes cater for adults who have Learning disabilities and Mental Health needs and aim to provide a caring and happy environment.

The Position:
Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

-Overseeing two registered care homes that cater for individuals with Learning disabilities and Mental Health needs.

-Ensuring that the company's policies and procedures are fully and consistently implemented.

-Assisting in the recruiting and training of staff in order to develop the workforce to meet requirements.

-Ensuring that care plans are being effectively communicated to care workers and that workers understand their responsibilities and duties.

The Person:
- Must have at least 3 years of management experience in a care environment.

-Must have an NVQ L4 or equivalent or be working towards this.

-Will have had at least 3 years' experience of working with individuals with Learning Disabilities/Mental health needs.

A Full UK Driving License and access to a vehicle is essential for this position
