A 4 bedded residential home located in a quiet residential street of St Leonards on Sea, specialising in providing expert care for adults with Prader Willi Syndrome with associated Learning Disabilities.
All residents at Bishops Way are encouraged to be as independent as possible, and this can cover a wide spectrum of activities. Everyone living within the Service is supported to identify goals and wishes through key worker meetings and reviews, where discussion takes place as to how they would like to achieve this
We have a hard working and dedicated staff team with varied levels of experience across all aspects of PWS care and support, all staff are trained to the highest possible standards, including all mandatory training, specific training in PWS and associated areas and QCF. All staff support and encourage each person to be as independent as possible as well as maintaining their individuality.

This is a great opportunity for an exceptional and experienced manager, ideally with some experience of Prader Willi Syndrome, who will be integral in leading the team to shape and develop the service strategy, and inspire the staff team to provide the highest quality of person-centred support. The successful candidate will have an excellent working knowledge of CQC standards and associated regulations, with exceptional leadership and organisational skills.
Committed to quality assurance, you will effectively lead and inspire your team to provide the highest quality person-centred support and care. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering best practice in social care whilst continually developing the service. You will have the opportunity to use your skills in an environment where the effective management of people and processes will be critical to the services success.
