Are you an enthusiastic and self-motivated nurse with strong clinical leadership and managerial skills?
We are seeking an experienced, motivated and passionate Sister/Charge Nurse to join our busy Radiography Department; we provide a full range of diagnostic and interventional imaging services across two sites. You need to demonstrate an excellent range of clinical nursing skills and be committed to delivering quality care to all our patients. The appointed nurse will be involved in the care and management of both inpatient and out patients having ultrasound, MRI, CT, and angiography guided procedures.
The successful applicant will be someone who can offer strong organisational skills and will also have a gift for inspiring multi-disciplinary teams to challenge traditional models of care to continually improve clinical quality and patient satisfaction. The ability to develop effective relationships is paramount.
You would be responsible on a 24 hour basis for the operational management and service delivery processes within the ward. This includes line management of all ward staff, managing and monitoring resources within a defined budget and contributing to the corporate agenda.
Registered Nurse with full NMC Registration
Minimum of two years post registration experience at Band 6 in a Radiography, Cath Lab, or Theatre setting
