Job Description


The UHB is a Smoke Free Health Board. Smoking is banned across all of the UHB sites. Staff are therefore not able to smoke in the hospital grounds or on any other UHB premises.

The Noahs Ark Children's Hospital for Wales provides a national centre for many aspects of healthcare and education in Wales.This post will actively contribute to the delivery of a truly first class service for critically ill children in Wales, working within the Paediatric Critical Care Unit (PCCU). The post holder will help to build on the already strong foundations of the paediatric critical care team by delivering quality patient care and developing as a practitoner with expert knowledge.

Successful candidates will need to be sensitive towards children and their families, maintain standards of confidentiality and uphold the values of the UHB. In addition the person should be professional, possess good communication skills, and have a flexible approach to working within the service.

The ability to speak Welsh is desirable for this post
