We work very closely with our Team of ITU Consultants and actively promote joint decisions on progressing both patients care and ITU practice.

You will be required to juggle clinical priorities and management, ensuring a balanced delivery of high performance across operational targets, clinical standards and regulatory compliance. You will play a key role in the development and delivery of education and training for all levels of staff in the department.

You must have proven ICU experience at a minimum of a band 6 which would include a successfully completed post registration course in Critical Care Nursing and Mentorship. .You will also possess a high level of both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in critical care nursing.

This appointment will be subject to a satisfactory completion of a 6 month probationary period for new starters to the Trust.
