THIS SIXTEEN BEDDED WARD IS PART OF THE NORTH WEST CENTRE FOR CARDIOPULMONARY TRANSPLANTATION AND VENTRICULAR ASSIST DEVICES (LVADS) FOR SUITABLE PATIENTS. OUR CLIENT GROUP INCLUDES PRE HEART AND LUNG TRANSPLANT ASSESSMENTS, EARLY POST OPERATIVE CARE FOLLOWING TRANSPLANT SURGERY AND LONG TERM FOLLOW UP AND PALLIATIVE CARE. WE ALSO HAVE PATIENTS FOLLOWING OPEN HEART SURGERY AND LUNG SURGERY.
WE HAVE A VACANCY FOR BAND 6, TO WORK PREDOMINANTLY ON DAY DUTY, ROTATION ONTO NIGHTS MAYBE REQUIRED PERIODICALLY.
