We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Sister for our MIU and Outpatient departments at Bodmin Hospital This role will require the post-holder to provide strong, practical and clinical Leadership, accepting daily management responsibility for the nursing team and supervision of staff.
You must have at least three years’ experience at a Senior Nurse level (Band 6) working in an MIU/emergency department/urgent care setting, evidence of continuous professional development at degree level with a current clinical assessment and teaching qualification. You must possess an academically recognised qualification relevant to the speciality which must include minor illness and paediatrics
The ideal applicant will be motivated with a proven track record of leadership and experience of implementing change. They will possess excellent organisational, communication and clinical skills relevant to the post and be able to act as a positive role model. They must be committed to the on-going development of the unit and multi-disciplinary team working which aims to deliver the highest standards of patient care.
This is a full-time post working 375 hours per week.
