We provide Acute Hospital services across four sites.Our organization has grown in size and reputation since it was established as a Trust in1993. We currently have a workforce of approximately 3000 staff across a wide range of professional and specialist groups.

Come and Join our dynamic Stroke Team.
We are looking to recruit Band 6 nurses to provide the specialist stroke care 24 hours a day 7 days a week.
You will be part of an expanding Team of nurses based on the Stroke Unit. This is currently a combined stroke unit and provides both the care in the hyper-acute and acute phase of stroke management.
We are looking for someone who shares our passion for stroke care to bring their experience and join our expanding highly skilled and motivated team of band 6 nurses.
You will support the senior stroke team in providing 24/7 specialist stroke service. You will work alongside the Stroke CNS and Stroke Coordinator in carrying the stroke bleep. You will carry-out assessments in A&E and ensure all stroke patients are placed on the correct pathway of care and have a timely admission to the unit.
You will be based on the Stroke Unit and will be carrying out duties on the ward. You will often work as the coordinator for a shift.
