Sister / Charge Nurse

Hours per week 375 hours per week working 24 hours a day within a rota to ensure safe service delivery of care . Oncall rota 24/7 365 days per year.

About the role:

We are looking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated senior nurse whom can demonstrate good clinical ability in the delivery of acute cardiology care within the Cardiac Cath Lab .

You should be able to lead and develop the nursing team within an expanding service. You should be willing to develop your professional practice within a dynamic clinical environment.

We actively support continuing professional development. Prior experience of cardiology in secondary or tertiary care is essential. A willingness to take on new roles and responsibilities is essential within our dynamic service that aspires to deliver the very best of care.

We have a purpose built Cardiac Centre that incorporates nurse led chest pain assessment, invasive and non-invasive investigations as well as two Cath Labs. Our newest bespoke Cath Lab is used in our aspirations to develop acute cardiology provision with the very best in cutting edge medical technology. We work as a large multi-disciplinary team and strive to look at different ways of working, Cardiology is part of the Emergency Care team and the exciting new build of the Emergency Department in under way.
