BAND 7 SISTER/ CHARGE NURSE IN ED
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a great team of dynamic, highly skilled patient focused and supportive nurses within the Emergency Department (ED) at Queen Alexandra Hospital in Cosham, Portsmouth.
With approximately 350 attendances a day, the Emergency Department is one of the busiest on the South Coast.
We are currently looking for highly skilled and enthusiastic individuals, who are able to deliver high quality, patient focused care within an acute setting. While processing the essential abilities to effectively manage a high flow and demanding workload in challenging circumstances.
Due to expansion and review of the Emergency Department nursing team, we are now recruiting into Band 7 posts.
These are permanent roles and will be contracted to either full time or part time (depending on your preference).
Band 7 -Senior Nurses are required who are highly motivated individuals skilled in Emergency Nursing with at least 18 months experience at Band 6, to work throughout all areas of the Emergency Department, providing excellent clinical and managerial leadership, 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.
