This Hospital offers comprehensive private hospital services to patients from Hertfordshire, North London and surrounding areas. In 2009 we underwent a £7 million investment programme which provided an upgraded state-of-the-art CT scanner, a fifth operating theatre, a new pathology laboratory, new X-ray equipment and an ophthalmic centre.

What we are looking for:


We are looking for a bank Mammographer to join our busy, friendly Imaging team.


The Imaging Department offers a wide variety of services to our patients and consultants including 7 one-stop breast clinics.  You will be required to have a mammography accreditation and also be willing to undertake some general radiography too.

You will be required to perform all duties expected of a HPC registered Radiographer in a professional and competent manner and provide a high level of service that meets and strives to exceed all our customer’s expectations.  To be a focal point for all customers (Consultants, patients, visitors and staff) and to present a high standard of personal appearance together with total confidentiality in every aspect of work at all times.

 Working hours:    Bank hours as required, including evenings.


Skills required include:


  • Full HPC registration.
  • Competence in all aspects of general radiography, fluoroscopy and theatre work an advantage.
  • Mammography accreditation
  • Demonstrate computer literacy.
  • Knowledge of RIS/PACS and preferably IEP
  • Must demonstrate good communication and customer service skills.



Hourly rate:       Competitive

Our 'bank workers' work ad hoc shifts as and when required to suit business needs, often to cover busy periods, sickness or annual leave.
