SPECIALTY DOCTOR IN EMERGENCY MEDICINE x 5 POSTS
We are currently developing a new clinical offer, which reflects the changing needs of our patients and will deliver the care that really makes a difference to our local communities. And we want you to help us shape and deliver it.
We are expanding our team to manage our 24/7 Emergency Department and provide leadership for our Minor Injuries Units and Urgent Care Model across our Trust and are looking for 5 full-time Specialty Doctors to join us.
We are working closely with Virgin Healthcare to shape the future model of Emergency Care across Staffordshire and this is an exciting time to join to be one of the first in the country to operate in this way. Our Urgent and Emergency care service was rated as “Good” in the latest CQC inspection, and this role offers you the opportunity to join us on our road to “Outstanding”.
Joining the trust will offer plenty of opportunities to further your career and to be hands-on in these exciting development projects. We offer a proactive approach to further training, development and education, including a well-equipped Centre for simulation-based training and a very supportive educational faculty - our educational supervisors have rated highly in GMC surveys. We also have strong links with University Hospitals North Midlands and Derby Teaching Hospitals.
We are currently developing our CESR programme working collaboratively with Derby Teaching Hospitals. This programme is intended to provide support and training required to successfully complete the CESR process and may include secondment modules or specific training such as learning a new technique or procedure. For the right candidate, we can offer a specifically-designed training and teaching package with a designated Consultant supervisor for the duration of the programme to support individuals career aspirations and goals.
