Cygnet Health Care is one of the UK's largest independent providers of mental health care, providing high value integrated services to a wide range of individuals. We aim to offer personalised care to service users with psychological, emotional and addiction problems. For our hospital-based services, this spans medium security all the way to rehabilitation services, with a wide variety of specialist mental health, learning disability and personality disorder services offered at all stages of the pathway.
Cygnet Hospital Woking, formerly Alpha Hospital Woking, provides low secure services for male and female patients and a specialist psychiatric care service for adolescents. Close to the main site we also have a male locked rehab service. The hospital is located just half an hour from London, is close to the M3 motorway networks and is supported by a vast public transport network.
The hospital is currently seeking a suitable candidate to work across our Adolescent service.
The successful candidate should have experience of managing specialist mental health, behavioural and psychological needs of patients, including those with personality disorders. The successful candidate will be part of the supportive MDT. The post holder will be clinically accountable to the Consultant Psychiatrist/Responsible Clinician, who in turn is accountable to the Group Medical Director/Hospital Director.
The post holder will be expected to take part in clinical and interdisciplinary activities within the service. They will be expected to keep up-to-date with current psychiatric practice and be expected to perform to the standards of CPD laid down by the Royal College of Psychiatrists.
The substantive post holder will also be part of an out of hours on-call rota where previous experience of children's services will be a distinct advantage.
