This post attracts a recruitment and retention premia of 5% of basic salary for the first year rising to 15% over a five year period.
This post typical involves working on a resident on call rota and this post is offering 2 additional PAs (The requirement for you to undertake additional Programmed Activities will be reviewed annually)
We are a dynamic and supportive department, and you will gain excellent experience, clinically and educationally and you will be rewarded with an excellent level of training and support. While this post is not recognized for training purposes, you will play an active part in our training program and will contribute to educational commitments alongside Deanery trainees.
In return, you will have sound clinical knowledge relevant to the job, with excellent experience of anaesthetic in an acute care setting including elective and emergency work. Experience of obstetrics anaesthesia including epidural analgesics is important. Full registration with the GMC is a requirement to take up this post.
The successful applicant will be expected to participate in teaching both under and postgraduate students associated with the University of Buckingham and will also be expected to support colleagues doing these activities as part of his or her arranged job plan.
