Specialty Doctor in Obstetrics & Gynaecology
Salary:£38,302 to £71,425

Applications are welcome for a Speciality Doctor 10 session post in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Dumfries & Galloway Royal Infirmary which is available immediately. The post-holder will be working a resident 2nd on-call rota and will be expected to undertake a mixture of general gynaecology and obstetric duties. Opportunities will be available to develop special skills and be involved in specialist services.
Annual delivery rate is approximately 1300. The successful applicant will join an enthusiastic team of 5 consultants, 1 Associate Specialist, 1 Teaching Fellow, 2 other Speciality Doctors and 3 trainees, who provide a range of specialist services and excellent educational opportunities in a beautiful area of south west Scotland.
At least two years middle grade obstetric and gynaecology experience is essential. MRCOG part 1, or equivalent, is required and MRCOG part 2, or equivalent, is preferred. All applicants must hold valid registration with the GMC.
