Job Description

Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust was established in April 2002 and authorised as a Foundation Trust on 1st December 2007. The Trust provides health and wellbeing services for a population of around 15million people. The services provided include community nursing, health visiting and a range of therapy services including physiotherapy, podiatry and speech & language. The Trust specialises in inpatient and community mental health services. Lancashire Care NHS Foundation Trust covers the whole of the county and employs around 7,000 members of staff across more than 400 sites.

We are now seeking to recruit 1 Specialty Doctor in Older Adult Psychiatry to join our well established cohort of doctors in the Trust. This post will provide an excellent opportunity to develop skills in Old Age Psychiatry and assist in career progression.

Applicants must be fully registered with the GMC, and have a licence to practice.

It is a requirement that applicants are Section 12 Approved or eligible for approval at the time of commencing employment.

Remuneration will be as set out in the terms of the New Specialty Doctor Contract according to previous experience, based on Ten Programmed Activities (PAs) per week.
