Our Trust provides mental health, learning disability and children and family services across South Staffordshire, Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. We have over 350 inpatient beds and a broad range of community services such as crisis resolution and home treatment, early intervention and memory services.

Specialist mother and baby, eating disorder and medium secure forensic mental health services care for patients from across the region and we have contracts across the country for IAPT, addiction and some health services in prisons as well as hosting a network for inpatient mental health care for serving military personnel.

Our 3,500 staff serve a local population of 11 million in Shropshire and South Staffordshire, and within a range of services based from Leeds to the Isle of Wight and Liverpool to Cambridge.

Specialty Doctor in Community Paediatrics

Base – Burton upon Trent

Full Time 1x 10 PAs per week

This is an exciting opportunity to join South Staffordshire and Shropshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust as a valued Specialty Doctor, providing senior medical input into the East Community Paediatrics Team.

We are an excellent service, we are well motivated and we have strong links with strong links with CAMHS services. If you would like to come and visit our team we would encourage you to do so.

The permanent posts are for 10PAs per week with the expectation to participate on the paediatric on call rota.

The Trust provides mental health, learning disability, specialist physical health and specialist children’s services across South Staffordshire and mental health and learning disability services in Shropshire and Telford & Wrekin. We also provide some services, such as in-reach and rehabilitation in prisons, on a wider regional or national basis. The Trust serves a population of 11 million, over an area of 2,200 square miles, with around 3,500 staff. It has a turnover of over £175million.
