We are seeking to appoint a Specialty doctor with an interest in the field of Older Adult Psychiatry on a whole-time or job share basis
The Specialty Doctor will work under the supervision of the Consultant Psychiatrist within the Service and will provide outpatient clinics, inpatient management and medical input to the multi-disciplinary team.
The clinical work will provide the opportunity to gain a variety of skills and increasing responsibility as experience develops.The service strongly supports continuing professional development and provides protected time for attendance at case conferences, journal clubs and for teaching, research and audit.

Applicants must have full GMC registration, previous NHS experience within psychiatry at core trainee or a higher grade including working with patients within Older Adults services.They should have evidence of good communication skills and a commitment to multi-disciplinary and multi-agency working.
