An exciting opportunity has arisen for the appointment of full-time ST 4-7 doctors in the obstetric and gynaecological department in Cwm University Health Board. The successful candidates will work alongside Consultants and Senior Registrars on the Tier 2 rota in a busy general hospital department.
The post is for 6 months and will commence as soon as possible. The successful applicants will be required to work in all sites across the Health Board. However the successful candidates will initially work alongside the existing Consultant Obstetricians and Registras based at the Royal Glamorgan Hospital.

This is a full time post working a 1:8 Registrar rota which include weekends and inclusive of prospective cover.

Initially appointed on a 6 month fixed term basis with the potential to extend

Applicants must have completed core training in Obstetrics & Gynaecology and obtained MRCOG Part 1 Any special interest for example Outpatient Hysteroscopy, that would either complement or support the existing workforce would be advantageous.

With effect from 1st January 2016 points 1,2,3 and 4 on AfC Pay Band 1 and Pay Band 2 will be adjusted to £16,132 to reflect the incorporation of the living wage’
