Ward A3 is a fast-paced dynamic elective orthopaedic ward , dedicated to delivering high standards of nursing care to patients undergoing elective orthopaedic surgery. Due to service expansion, we are currently looking to recruit highly motivated band 5 staff nurses with a passion for delivering high quality care.
We are interested in hearing from both experienced and newly qualified nurses, who are highly motivated, aspirational and caring individuals, to come and join us and work within our well established nursing team. This is an excellent opportunity to gain knowledge and experience within this specialty and further develop your surgical clinical skills.
The successful candidate will be passionate about the nursing profession, and patient care. They will be enthusiastic and professional with a good work ethic and the ability to adapt into our friendly multidisciplinary team. They will be flexible and possess the ability to think quickly and work in a busy orthopaedic ward.
You will be supported by your mentor/preceptor, but will also have the support of the trust practice based educator team through the Trust Preceptorship Programme and on-going CPD. The trust has strong links with local universities and the UHSM Academy based at our Education and Resource Centre supports numerous in house training opportunities, together with the Critical Care Skills Institute, the Practice Based Educators and the Trust Specialist Nurses.
