Zentar UK is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic and highly motivated Staff Nurse to work in the Plastic and Re constructive Surgery division of our client.
Our client is the UK's largest independently owned not for profit hospital, consisting of over 250 patient beds and 12 operating theatres including dedicated endoscopy suites, a day surgery unit and an 14 bedded Intensive Care Unit.

Principal Areas of Responsibility
•To take responsibility for individualised patient care acting as the named nurse, using the Roper Logan and Tierney model and documentation for the department.
•To adopt a holistic, pro-active and dynamic approach to clients with Plastic and Reconstructive care needs.
•To act as a role model and change agent for students and staff members by promoting innovation and high practice standards.
•To promote partnership with patients in the care.
•To ensure legibility and accuracy of nursing records and to be aware of the legal implications of these documents.
•To promote safe practice and professional conduct.
•To encourage good working relationships within the multidisciplinary team, to ensure the effective care and treatment of patients.
•To be flexible with regard to staffing, i.e. deputising for Sister/Charge Nurse or assisting in other areas or on other floors as required.
•To participate in the promotion of the Department and The Clinic. To regularly participate in department meetings to enhance team communication.
•To adhere to Clinic guidelines and policies and assist in implementation and review.
•Be aware of and understand The Clinic Disciplinary and Grievance procedures.
