An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen to be part of a newly established team, providing a bespoke service on our specialist ward, caring for medically optimised patients, prior to discharge.

This 10 bedded ward will provide a unique care setting for patients who are awaiting discharge. The team of staff providing this specialist care model will ‎be multi-disciplinary and will focus on high quality care provision on a 24/7 basis.

Working closely with discharge team, to support patient flow, you will nurse patients of both medical and surgical specialties, caring for their personal needs as they prepare to go home. Although patients could be of any age, we foresee that they will be predominantly elderly patients.

Whilst we do require experienced nurses for this new ward, it is also an ideal environment to introduce newly qualified nurses, and therefore we are accepting applications from all qualified nurses.
