Walsall Healthcare NHS Trust provides integrated acute and community Healthcare in the West Midlands serving a population of 260,000 residents. Walsall Manor Hospital houses the full range of district general hospital services. The £170 million development was completed in 2010 and we are continually upgrading. An opportunity has arisen to join the Division of Medicine and Long Term Conditions Team. You must be a level 1 RGN. You will need to work flexibly to meet the demands of the service and be able to work on a shift rota basis.
You will be required to undertake the provision of nursing care with support from senior colleagues. You will develop the skills and competencies to perform additional skills. We work closely with all members of the multi-disciplinary team in what can be a challenging but overall very rewarding environment, and you will be well supported by our senior nursing team. You will need excellent communication skills, have a caring and compassionate nature, and demonstrate a willingness to learn and develop within your role. We welcome applications from both experienced and newly qualified staff nurses.
We have vacancies for highly motivated individuals to join our enthusiastic Multidisciplinary team on swift Discharge Suite which is a 34 bed GP and Nurse led Discharge unit. We seek to assess and promote safe discharge in a timely manner promoting independence through individualised plans of care.
