Hours – part/full time and rotational posts available.Applicants will be expected to be flexible to meet the needs of the service and to be able to work rotation.
We are seeking highly motivated, enthusiastic and forward thinking individuals to apply for Registered Staff Nurse posts within the Trust’s Medicine Unit which covers the following Wards:
Ward 1 is a 30 bedded Ward whose sub-speciality is gastrointestinal disorders and works closely with the Hospital Alcohol Team;
Ward 5 is a 28 bedded Ward (with an additional 6 bedded escalation area) whose speciality is diabetes and endocrinology;
Ward 6/CCU is a 28 bedded unit whose speciality is cardiology including monitored beds;
Ward 10 is a 30 bedded respiratory speciality Ward.
Each Ward has strong links with their respective Specialist Nursing and Multi-Professional Teams to ensure the patients experience a quality and holistic pathway for their condition/illness.
You should be a good team player, hold excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Medical experience is preferable but is not essential as training, development and mentorship opportunities will be available for experienced or newly qualified nurses.
