We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Mental Health Staff Nurse (RMN) to join our client’s busy team at their Mental Health Unit, based in leafy surroundings in the countryside just outside Cardiff, Wales.
This centre provides care for adults with a diagnosis of a learning disability, who may also experience mental illness, personality disorders or autistic spectrum conditions. This is a full-time post, but our client is open to hearing from applicants seeking to negotiate a part-time opportunity.
Our client is a key provider of independent mental health care in the UK. This facility is dedicated to improving patients' health and wellbeing by offering an exceptional standard of services, and delivering programmes of care that are tailored to patients' specific needs.
The successful candidate will help patients to manage mental health issues in a low secure setting, adopting a systemic approach to care plans and enabling patients to become more independent.
An RMN with full NMC registration (not requiring a period of supervised placement).
Up-to-date knowledge of the Mental Health Act.
Minimum of six months' relevant post-registration clinical experience.
