Basildon and Thurrock University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust is an innovative and dynamic place to work. Our values - safe, caring, excellent – are at the core of everything we do and are the basis for our interactions with patients and each other.
The Trust is rated ‘good’ by the Care Quality Commission who described our services as effective, caring, responsive and well-led. Basildon Hospital was the first in the country to be rated as ‘outstanding’ for maternity care and our ambition is to become ‘outstanding’ in as many services as possible over the coming months and years.
We offer an extensive range of acute healthcare services at Basildon University Hospital, Orsett Hospital and the St Andrew’s Centre in Billericay. We also provide specialist cardiothoracic services for the whole of Essex and further afield at The Essex Cardiothoracic Centre, which has a reputation for leading developments in cardiac surgery and cardiology procedures.
We work collaboratively with our NHS partners in mid and south Essex to ensure that local people have access to the best possible healthcare services.
We are part of UCLPartners, an academic health and science partnership with over 40 members who together form one of the world’s leading centres of medical innovation and education. We offer a professional environment where all staff have excellent education, coaching, mentoring, training and development opportunities.
We are looking for talented individuals who are committed to working as part of our healthcare team delivering an excellent, caring service to patients.
Take a look our Trust values video on our website and see if you have what it takes to be one of the team!
