Staff Nurse ( RMN )

Service Type: Low / Medium Secure Psychiatric Hospital

Location: Newbury, Berkshire

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000 per annum

Hours: Full Times & Part Time Contracts Available

Contract: Permanent

Service Details / Job Description: An exciting opportunity has arisen for qualified and experienced RMNs to work within a prestigious private hospital in Newbury. The hospital provides personalised assessment and treatment programmes for males with complex care needs, histories of offending and those who may have failed in previous placements. The facility offers a combination of medium and low secure units and rehabilitation flats that provides a seamless internal care pathway supporting and empowering patients in their recovery and rehabilitation.

Preceptor ship Nurses will be considered if evidence of good experience with this service user group evident.

Person Specification: Applicants should be qualified to practice as a mental health nurse (RMN) within the UK. Applicants must be able to work rotational shift patterns (consisting of days, nights and weekends). Applicants must hold a valid PIN. All applicants must be eligible to live and work in the UK without the need for sponsorship. All candidates must have good knowledge of the nursing process, Care Programme approach, and mental health legislation.
