An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the small, friendly and dedicated nursing team on Ward G5 at Doncaster & Bassetlaw Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust.
Ward G5 is an acute surgical admissions ward, caring for Gynaecology and breast patients and the ward Environment currently consists of:
24 Bedded in Patient Unit – for Elective and Non-Elective patients.
Early Pregnancy Assessment Unit
We also have a direct access pathway for Gynae-Oncology patients.
The Gynaecology Management team is forward thinking, innovative and constantly reviewing how we provide care to our patients to improve their experience. We have an enhanced recovery programme for Women undergoing major surgery and we are currently developing a Theatre Day Care Unit and implementing Nurse Led Discharge to improve the patient pathway from admission to discharge.
We are looking for a Band 5 Nurse to join our team. This post is suitable for a newly qualified nurse or a nurse with a limited period of experience so far in their career. This is an excellent opportunity to take your career forward within our service and in return, develop and utilise your clinical skills.
