Staff Nurse - York
Job Description

LNR Future Solutions are looking for a Registered Nurse for a large nursing home in York. The home is made up of 2 smaller units offering nursing care to the elderly and service users with Dementia as well as other mental health conditions. 

The Home Manager is looking to recruit a fully qualified registered nurse to work full time hours on day shift. The nurse can be either mental health trained or general trained and will ideally have 6 months post qualification experience. Experience within a nursing home is not required as training can be provided but applicants should have an interest in working with the elderly. 

The successful nurse will be joining a large private company who offer regular training as well as the opportunity to progress to the next level in your career. 

Responsibilities:

• Administering medication
• Produce individual care plans
• Maintain accurate records
• Work to NMC and CQC guidelines and regulations
• Commit to improving the lives of residents
• Be organised and proactive
• Respect the service users and their wishes



Job Requirements

The successful nurse must be:

• RGN  (or equivalent)
• Able to work in the UK
• Have a valid NMC pin

Salary is dependent on experience.
